"Ideas you are not putting in paper (virtual of physical), aren’t a real thing." This resonated so much with me! One of the first things that helped me was getting stuff out of my head and onto paper. Made more room in my head and helped make my ideals more concrete!
"Ideas you let marinade in your head for a long time, eventually rot and decay."
I've always seen it as a dying flame when I don't write something down. Or if I just take too long to get to it my passion toward it fizzles out.
The rot and decay works so well because if I let something marinade in my head too long, the original focus gets muddled to the point where it's all falling apart.
Every time I make something, it goes differently than before, so it's really nice to have a structure like PORCO. Thanks for sharing! 😄
This is such great advice for any creative project! Also Big Yes to commissioning artists -- it can be so delightful to have someone bring your idea to life in a beautiful image. ❤️
This is an incredible resource, thank you
